About Super Sudoku
Super Sudoku is a free sudoku site with seven levels and practice drills for nine solving techniques. It is made and maintained by Adrian. You can get in touch through adrian-tech.co.uk, which is linked at the bottom of every page.
How the puzzles are made
Every puzzle is generated in your browser when you ask for it. The generator starts from a complete grid and removes numbers while the puzzle still has exactly one solution.
The result is then solved step by step with the same techniques a person would use, and graded by the hardest one it needs. A puzzle that could only be finished by guessing is thrown away and never dealt.
This is why a level here is a promise about logic. Easy never needs more than singles, and Extreme always needs a forcing chain or a Jellyfish.
What is saved, and where
There are no accounts. Your puzzle in progress, your finished times and your settings are saved in the local storage of your own browser. They are not sent to a server, so they do not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
You can clear your results at any time with Reset stats in the New game window.
Privacy
The site does not ask for your name, your email address or any other personal detail. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits, which works without cookies.
